Samsung's 2026 UAE TV Lineup Bets on Micro RGB and On-Screen AI

Samsung Gulf Electronics has unveiled its 2026 television lineup for the UAE, and the headline act is a new display category rather than a bigger screen or a sharper panel. Micro RGB, the company's newest technology tier, joins OLED, Neo QLED, Mini LED, The Frame, and UHD models in a lineup that leans heavily on independent color control and built-in AI features.

The Micro RGB models, R95H and R85H, generate red, green, and blue light from separate LEDs rather than relying on a white backlight filtered through color layers. Samsung says this gives the panels full coverage of the BT.2020 color standard, along with dedicated processing for color, motion, and contrast. The line spans from 65 to 115 inches, and the R95H has picked up two certifications from Germany's VDE testing body covering eye safety and light output regulation.

Glare Free technology, designed to cut down on reflections, appears across the Micro RGB range and has now been extended to the S90H OLED model. Samsung's OLED tier still includes the S95H and S85H, with the Art Store gallery feature added to the S95H. Several OLED sets in the lineup support refresh rates up to 165 Hz with AMD and NVIDIA frame-sync support, a spec aimed squarely at gamers rather than typical living-room buyers.

The Frame series gets its largest entry yet: a 98-inch model measuring 30.9 mm thick, with access to more than 5,000 pieces through Samsung's Art Store. That set is scheduled to begin shipping on September 1, 2026. A step below it, The Frame Pro switches to Neo QLED technology and adds a Wireless One Connect box that keeps cables away from the screen, bringing the panel down to 24.9 mm.

Mini LED rounds out the display side with the M80H and M70H, both offered in 55, 65, 75, and 85-inch sizes. The M80H runs Samsung's NQ4 AI Gen2 processor and supports up to 144 Hz, while the M70H uses a simpler Mini LED Processor 4K chip.

AI and audio additions

On the software side, Samsung is folding Bixby and Perplexity into a Vision AI Companion feature for 4K-and-above models, letting users search content, adjust picture and sound settings, and receive personalized suggestions through voice or on-screen prompts. It's a clear signal that Samsung wants its TVs to function as assistants, not just displays.

Two new audio products, Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5, round out the announcement. Both support high-resolution audio and Dolby Atmos, and the Music Studio 7 can pair with up to five compatible audio devices connected to a single Samsung TV.

The full lineup will roll out in the UAE through Samsung's website, its own retail stores, and select third-party outlets, with the 98-inch Frame model arriving first among the flagship pieces in September 2026.
